No need for Barala to resign

Once again going away from the party’s stand, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday said that there was no need for Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala to resign from his post for involvement of his son in a stalking case.

Notably, the Congress high command and Haryana leaders have all along been seeing Barala’s resignation.

“There is no need for Barala’s resignation, but there should not be any pressure on the Chandigarh Police in the matter, and the police should act according to the law,” said Capt Amarinder while talking with a news channel at New Delhi.

Interestingly, the official Press statement does not include Capt Amarinder’s statement on Barala’s resignation, but that of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s resignation.
