The Haryana Government on Friday directed the municipalities to not accept the Change of land Use (ClU) applications from any individual or company for projects with investment more than Rs ten crore and involving land more than one acre for the areas falling in conforming industrial zones of the published final development plan of the concerned town.
In such cases, the applicant would be asked to apply online on Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC) portal, said a spokesman of Urban local Bodies Department.
The HEPC was opened in Panchkula this year for the benefit of new units or units under expansion, by way of providing them all clearances under single roof in Haryana. At present, 12 different departments are working in cohesion under one roof to provide various services.
The spokesman said that the State Government has also decided to grant another three months time for submission of applications for conversion of residential plots for commercial use and regularisation of such illegal conversions in rehabilitation schemes, town planning schemes and improvement trust schemes located within municipal limits.
