Nine families promoting brand NaMo: Congress

Brand NaMo, is being projected through various news channels, which are being funded by nine big families of India, alleged Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Phool Chand Mullana.

Terming it, as a big conspiracy, Phool Chand Mullana said, “These families have the media in their clutch, and by using it as a tool, these families want to topple the ‘Ruling Government’, hence they are promoting Narendra Modi.”

While addressing the meeting of Congress party workers from 12 districts at CM residence here on Tuesday, Mullana added, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narender Modi’s communal stand has already been exposed during Gujarat Riots. However, these projections will only expose him more.

The ‘Shakti Rally’ to be held at Gohana on November 10, would give a befitting reply to the false propaganda of the opposition, added Mullana.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had called this meeting, on second consecutive day, of all the DCC presidents, block level presidents and representatives of various cells at his residence; after meeting all MlAs and MPs at Chandigarh on October 15.

Hooda also lambasted the opposition and alleged that the parties, during whose tenure, corruption was rampant are now talking about eradicating it. They are simply misleading the people of the state for whom they did nothing, he added.

‘Shakti Rally’, has become a prestige issue for the Haryana Chief Minister, who is serving his second term in the state and at the same time it is the first officially declared rally by the ruling Congress of the state, before the 2014 lok Sabha elections.

Hailing the party workers as the reason behind his triumph, Hooda exhorted them to make the ‘Shakti Rally’ a resounding success by attending it in huge numbers.

launching a scathing attack on Haryana Janhit Congress (Bl) chief, Kuldeep Bishnoi’s propaganda that he would eradicate corruption if he came to power, Hooda remarked “I am not in the habit of criticizing others but people of the state are aware about corrupt politicians and the muck produced by them.”

Commenting upon the Indian National lok Dal (INlD) for trying to take political mileage on the issues faced by farmers, Hooda said that it is my open challenge to their party to list a single step that they had taken in the interest of the farmers.

Hooda also alleged that INlD leaders are behind bars for not giving jobs to the deserving youths, but instead used the state machinery to fill their coffers in the name of providing jobs.

The present state government had provided jobs to the youths and 65,000 posts were created in various government departments, boards and corporations, which are to be filled up soon, however, then INlD Government had banned recruitment in the state for four long years.

“If anyone proved that I have given out an inch of government land for SEZ or acquired the lands of farmers for this purpose, I would quit,” said the Haryana CM.

The state government has also implemented the 'Dal Roti Scheme' under which 12.84 lakh BPl families were being given 2.5 kg pulses per month at the rate of Rs 20 per kg, he added.
