Punjab Local Government Minister Inderbir Singh Nijjar has directed the Water Supply and Sewerage Board for the completion of ongoing work of 24x7 water supply project at Patiala in a year. Reviewing Rs 342 crore project, the Minister said that after its completion, Patiala city residents will get 24x7 potable canal water supply. He said that one lakh connections will be provided in Patiala under this project and five lakh people will benefit directly.
