NHM Haryana workers begin two-day strike

Published on:

The employees under the National Health Mission (NHM) in Haryana went on a two-day Statewide strike on Tuesday affecting the health services in the State.

Over 12,000 NHM workers went on strike demanding regularisation of their services and pay at par with the regular health workers, under the slogan of “equal work, equal pay”.

The NHM workers are employed at primary health centres, urban health centres and ambulance services across the State.

On the demands of NHM workers, Health Minister Anil Vij said that all demands can not be accepted but we are ready to hold discussion with aggrieved employees to resolve their issues.
