Haryana would come out with a new policy for further improving the sex ratio in the State on the occasion of Women’s Day on March 8. Chief Minister Manohar lal made the announcement while presiding over a meeting with all Ministers, MlAs, District Presidents of BJP and senior officers of various departments regarding the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ programme here. The programme will be launched by PM Narendra Modi at Panipat on January 22.
The Chief Minister also sought suggestions for the proposed policy to be launched on women’s day and said that the same could be send to Women and Child Development Department so that these could be taken into consideration while framing the new policy. The CM said that this national programme would be launched by PM Modi from Panipat.
