NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind is all set to visit Chandigarh on June 29 to campaign in Punjab and Haryana.
Kovind will be accompanied by the Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and party’s General Secretary Anil Jain. Party MP Om Birla will also accompany Kovind on his visit to Chandigarh.
The party is in power in Haryana and the party sources maintained that the BJP leadership is in touch with the Indian National lok Dal (INlD) to ensure its support.
For Punjab and Haryana, the meeting will take place at Red Bishop in Panchkula.
A Party spokesperson informed that Kovind will visit the remaining states after June 30 after GST roll out.
