A special CBI court on Thursday issued non-bailable warrant against former Haryana Minister Om Parkash Jain and former chief Parliamentary Secretary Zile Ram Sharma and Rajinder Kumar, PA to Jain in connection with the murder of Karam Singh, a former sarpanch in Karnal.
Warrants issued by special CBI court in Panchkula a few days back couldn’t be served on Jain, Sharma and Kumar. Now CBI will produce the three accused in the court after arresting them.
Vishal Garg, counsel of Jain said an anticipatory bail plea will be filed in the Punjab and Haryana High court at the earliest. On August 22 the Panchkula court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Jain.
Earlier, the legislator’s counsel told the court that the MlA had already joined the investigations and was extending full co-operation and his custody was not required.
The charge sheet was filed by the probe agency before the CBI court in Panchkula against Jain, and Zile Ram Sharma, former chief parliamentary secretary.
