National general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda on Monday asked the newly nominated State office-bearers, all BJP ministers of Punjab Cabinet and chief parliamentary secretaries to gear up for the lok Sabha elections 2014 and laid out an elaborate strategy to increase party-grassroots worker interaction under the Sahyog project.

In the city to preside over meeting of newly constituted Punjab BJP team, Nadda asked party leaders to ensure that they meet grassroot level workers in districts which are constituencies of BJP leaders and the ones which are not.

Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma said that under the Sahyog program, senior party leaders and BJP ministers have fixed weekly days at the party headquarters. Extending the project further with an aim to infuse confidence and boost morale of its workers, especially in the constituencies that do not have BJP elected representative, Sharma directed ministers and CPSs to spend one day at the district headquarters of constituency they represent and one night amidst workers of other constituencies where party doesn’t contest elections.
