Kavita Khanna, wife of BJP’s Gurdaspur lok Sabha candidate Vinod Khanna on Tuesday praised BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi for his vision and said, if there was anyone who could change this country for better, it was him. Addressing the people during her roadshow and public meetings in Dhariwal, she said, “Modi’s leadership and guidance has benefitted millions of people in Gujarat and it is time for the entire country to benefit from it.”
Appealing people to vote for her husband, she said Vinod’s commitment and Modi’s vision and leadership would be a winning combination for this constituency where both would provide growth, development and prosperity to the region. She reminded the people of `400 crore revival package for Dhariwal Mills that was brought by Vinod Khanna during his tenure as an MP and Cabinet Minister in Vajpayee’s Government.
