Rains are likely to lash some parts of Punjab and Haryana in next 24 hours.
The local Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain showers at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana in 24 hours. A Met official said, “Weather is likely to remain partly cloudy with a possibility of rains on October 14 at isolated places in neighboring States.
“The night temperature levels remain below normal in many parts of the region while the day temperature are remaining close to normal,” he added. He added, “On Monday. while the maximum temperature levels were upto notches above normal, the minimum temperature recorded was also above normal levels at many places.”
Meanwhile, Chandigarh has recorded a maximum temperature of 34.5 degrees, up by three notches from normal and minimum temperature of 19 degrees, two degrees above normal.
