Punjab Transport Minister Ajit Singh Kohar on Tuesday assured the “on-strike” employees of Punjab Roadways and PUNBUS to look into their demands sympathetically and appealed to them for withdrawal of their strike in the larger public interest. Kohar, assuring a delegation of striking employees who called on the Minister, said that the Government had always safeguarded interests of its employees and Government was equally concerned about their demands as it was seriously making all out efforts to resolve this issue. “I would soon take up this matter with the CM for a positive outcome,” he said. The Minister sought support of employees to find an amicable solution.
