About 48,000 quintal rice had been allocated for the Mid-day Meals Scheme for schools in all the 27 districts of Chhattisgarh for the month of July.
The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department officials said that the quota had been allocated under the Public Distribution System. About 25 ,793 quintal rice had been allocated for the primary schools and 22 ,159 quintal for Middle Schools.
