Haryana Government has announced a financial aid of Rs 5 lakh each and government job for two affected families in Mewat’s double murder and gang-rape case.
Cabinet Minister Krishan lal Panwar on Monday visited Dingerheri in Mewat and met the affected family members. He assured strict action against the culprits.
The Government has also announced compensation of Rs 1 lakh for one severely injured and Rs 50000 each for three injured family members during the incident.
A couple was murdered and a minor girl and her married cousin were gangraped by five robbers who went on a rampage at Dingerheri village in Mewat during last month.
The accused had then fled with valuables including cash, jewellery and a vehicle.
The issue was also raised in the State Government with opposition demanding a CBI inquiry and strict action against the culprits in the case.
