The soaring humidity levels will continue troubling the populace across the region for next one week.
The Met Department has forecast that the humidity levels are likely to increase in the coming days across the region. There is also possibility of light to moderate rains in the region .The Met has also predicted increase in rainfall activity this week. Chandigarh and various parts of Punjab and Haryana have been recording high humidity levels in the recent past.
On Wednesday, the maximum humidity level in the city was at 89 per cent while the minimum was 68 percent. The city recorded maximum temperature of 34.8 degree Celsius and minimum temperature was 26.4 degree Celsius.
