To improve the quality of education in the State, Haryana Government has convened a State level Consultative Meeting on Friday to chalk out the new education policy-2015.
Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Thursday said that a State level Consultative Meeting will be held on the birth anniversary of Pt Deen Dayal Upadyay at Panchkula on September 25 and Chief Minister Manohar lal would be the chief guest.
Union Minister of Human Resource Development Smriti Irani has also been invited for this function.
He said that the School Education Department has already organised various meets at village, block and district level to invite suggestions from educationists on new education policy-2015. The educationists, NGOs, teacher associations and other stakeholders have been invited for the State level Consultative Meeting. The function would be organised in two sessions, he added.
