Chairman and Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Devender Singh has directed the officers engaged in operational activities to ensure safety of consumers and public in general by checking and rectifying all accident prone electric installations.
Singh was presiding over the meeting of the senior officers of the DHBVN and said that in order to ensure safety of consumers, the Nigams would give priority to shifting of those 11 Kv lines passing through residential colonies in urban as well as rural areas where the consumers would come forward to get the lines shifted by paying the estimated cost of shifting. In such cases, payment of the estimated cost is required to be deposited in advance.
