Acting tough against the property tax defaulters, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, K.K. Yadav on Friday ordered to attach 10 more properties of property tax defaulters.
A day before, the Commissioner had ordered attachment of 11 properties of defaulters from which one property owner Shishu Niketan Senior Secondary School, Sector 22 deposited its due property tax amounting to Rs. 14.80 lacs on Friday.
A fresh attachment of property orders has been issued to lake Cub-42, Rajput Bhawan-37, S.D. Saini Public School-38, SPCA-38, Young Scholar Education Society-37, Chandigarh Rotary Club service trust-18, Gurudwara Sarai-15, Sanjay Public School-44, Playmodel School-37 and G.G.D. S.D. College Society, Sector-32.
All the 10 defaulters of property tax have been directed to deposit their dues within a period of 15 days, failing which no further opportunity will be given to deposit the same and the premises and property will be taken into custody by putting seal pn it.
