Till date, Punjab Education Department has issued appointment letters to 1838 master cadre Teachers under its consistent campaign initiated on November 25, with the motive to give posting to the teachers on the station as per their choice.
This was informed by Punjab Education Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema on Sunday. He said that the remaining seats would be given to the candidates who fall next in the merit list. The information regarding this would be uploaded on the department’s official website www.ssapunjab.org and www.educationrecruitmentboard.com.
The Minister said that in order to bring more efficiency and improvement in working of schools for imparting high class education to the
students across the State, Punjab Government had recently selected 2574 master cadre teachers.
He added that 1838 teachers have been issued appointment letters under a special campaign initiated by the Education department. Remaining seats would also be filled soon. Amongst these 1838 teachers- 911 teachers of Social Studies, 411 teachers of English, 323 of Punjabi, 116 of Maths and 62 teachers of Science have got the posting orders at the station of their choice, he added.
