Mansa, Sangrur to have new police chiefs

Punjab Government on Friday transferred four Punjab Police Services (PPS) officers with immediate effect, with two districts — Mansa and Sangrur — getting new police chiefs. The transfer or posting orders of four PPS officers came two days after the Punjab Police transferred 31 police officers, including five Additional Directors General of Police (ADGPs) and eight district police chiefs.

As per Friday orders, Raghubir Singh has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mansa, while Prit Pal Singh will hold the charge as Sangrur SSP.  Mandeep Singh Sidhu has been posted as Commandant 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) at ladha Kothi in Sangrur, whereas Dilbagh Singh becomes Commandant 5th/IRB, Amritsar.
