Former Union Railway Minister and local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal on Saturday assured full assistance to the residents of Manimajra and said their issues would be taken on priority.
He added that Manimajra would not be ignored and the pending demands would be taken with the MCC and Administration authorities. Block Congress Committee Manimajra along with Youth Congress had organised a function in Manimajra here where the residents raised their issues with the local MP.
The residents raised the issues concerning the area including land acquisition, condition of roads etc. President Block Congress Committee, Manimajra, Mahipal Sharma stressed on introducing more facilities to Manimajra dispensary like MRI, CT Scan etc besides having a chemist shop and canteen there. He also raised the issue of supply of muddy water in Manimajra.
Meanwhile, Chandigarh MP Pawan Kumar Bansal also released a book Neel Jal ki son machlian written by Punita Bawa here at Gandhi Samarak Bhawan, Sector 16.
