Majithia demands probe into AAP leaders' links with foreign forces

Alleging that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was trying to destabilise the peace in the border state on behest of foreign forces, Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majthia on Thursday demanded an inquiry from the national agencies to investigate the links of AAP leaders with anti-national foreign forces and source of its funding.

Majithia said that AAP leaders were working in tandem with anti-national and anti-Punjab forces. “But Punjabis would never allow such anti-national elements to disturb the communal harmony,” said Majithia, on the side-lines of a function to distribute free cycles to the girl students.

On a defamation case against AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Majithia said that AAP leaders have adopted the ‘hit and run’ policy in Punjab by levelling baseless allegations on political opponents but the reality was that they were now running away from facing the trial in the court.

Once again daring Kejriwal to opt for day-to-day hearing in the case, Majithia said asked if AAP leaders have the courage to stand by their words than why they are running from daily hearing.
