The two mobile vans started by the UT Administration to function as “low price stalls” to sell onion and potato at reasonable price will visit several sectors and villages during the weekend. These vans are being given sufficient quantity of onion and potato (directly bought from wholesalers with the help of Government machinery) to be sold at “no profit and no loss basis” at different locations in Chandigarh having sizeable amount of poor and underprivileged people. A time period of two hours has been kept for each location where the “low price stall mobile vans” will sell vegetables i.e. onion and potato.
