leader of Opposition in Haryana Assembly and Indian National lok Dal’s senior leader Abhay Singh Chautala on Thursday said that he will urge the Chief Minister Manohar lal to convene a special session of State Assembly to bring in a bill for regularisation of Government employees and resolve their issues.

Abhay Chautala gave this assurance while meeting a delegation of Haryana Sarv Karamchari Sangh which had called on him in Sirsa. The employees delegation informed that 4654 government employees in various departments will be affected by the recent orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The HC had on May 31 set aside the previous Haryana Government’s policies to regularise the services of contractual and ad hoc employees. The policies were framed by the previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government to regularise employees ahead of the state assembly elections in 2014.

After the meeting with employees’ union, Abhay Chautala while talking to the mediapersons said that he will convene a party meeting on the issue of government employees.

I will also urge the Chief Minister to convene special session of Haryana Assembly, to resolve the issues of government employees, he added.

Chautala also accused the Haryana Government of ignoring the grievances of government employees, who are forced to hold protests time and again to raise their demands.
