The Met Department has predicted cloudy conditions and rains in next 24 hours in parts of Punjab and Haryana. “The days would be partly cloudy during next 24 hours and light rain/thundershowers may occur at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab,” said a Met official.

Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy snowfall and rain are likely to lash parts of Himachal Pradesh during the next couple of days, predicted the Met Department. "There will be heavy to very heavy snowfall and rain in parts of Himachal Pradesh from February 1 to February 3," said an official of Meteorological Department (IMD).

The official said such weather condition would be due to a western disturbance in the region. The Department also said in its bulletin that rain and snow would occur at a few places over western Himalayan region on February 4 and there will be significant decrease in it thereafter.
