Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday requested the Haryana Government to withdraw its decision not to play buses through the state.
"There is no occasion for such a decision as people of Punjab and Haryana have been living and continue to live like two brothers in atmosphere of complete brotherly love, respect and mutual faith. There is no tension anywhere to warrant such a decision," said Badal in a statement here this afternoon.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana decision might call unnecessary panic.
Soon after the Supreme Court order on the SYl canal, Haryana Roadways had decided to pill out its buses from operating in Punjab.
