Greater Mohali Area Development Authority has allotted 10 acres of land in the upcoming Medicity in New Chandigarh to the four key players in the field of medical research and healthcare. CM Parkash Singh Badal on Monday cleared the proposal on the basis of recommendations of the scrutiny committee formed for the allotment of land in the project, CMO spokesperson said. Out of 10 acres of land, five acres have been allotted to Max Healthcare Institute limited, three acres to Grewal Eye Institute Private limited, and one acre each to Jindal IVF and Memorial Nursing Home and Chaitanya Hospital.
