The Haryana Government has planned to air-condition the labour rooms in all hospitals of the State to provide a clean environment to women and the newly-born babies, said Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday.Besides, emergency services would be upgraded to make available all treatment facilities to the patients in the same hospital. Only patients in serious condition would be referred to other hospitals, said Anil Vij while presiding over a review meeting of the Health Department.
He said that the labs in hospitals would be equipped with all modern equipment and the patients would not be required to go outside for getting the tests done. Online tracking system would be started for files in all hospitals to check where a file is stuck for over a week.Vij said that he had asked all MlAs to apprise him in writing about the health related problems in their respective areas so that appropriate action could be initiated after sizing up the requirements of hospitals.
