Kolianwali to file defamation against Capt Amarinder

Punjab Agro Industries Corporation chairman Dyal Singh Kolianwali on Thursday asked Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh to take back all false allegations levelled against him within 10 days or give proof to prove his accusation otherwise he would be left with no other option than filling a criminal defamation case against the latter.

Kolianwali said that Capt Amarinder has levelled baseless allegations against him “under his well-known policy of threatening and defaming his opponents with malicious propaganda”.

Capt Amarinder, a day before, had alleged Kolianwali of involving in the alleged recruitment scam.

Koliawali, who is also president of Shiromani Akali Dal for Muktsar rural district, asked Capt Amarinder to learn from his past mistakes of threatening his opponents as he had already tasted the outcome of threats issued by him during 2012 polls.

“If a common Akali worker can put him on mat for his threats of dealing the opponents with khoonda and dang, than how he can dare to threat a district presidentIJ Capt Amarinder cannot weaken his love and dedication for the party and Badal family resorting to such threatening tactics,” he said.

Daring Capt Amarinder to give a single proof against him, senior SAD leader said that Capt Amarinder should not try to camouflage the misdeeds of him and his family by putting blames against brave workers of SAD.

He dared Capt Amarinder to explain his involvement in Amritsar Improvement Trust scam and ludhiana City scam and his son’s involvement in Intranet Scam besides telling truth about his wife’s black money accounts in Swiss banks.

Describing ‘dharnas’ announced by Capt Amarinder as another attempt of a beleaguered 'captain' to save his sinking ship, Kolianwali said that Congress party was on death-bed and soon be vanished from the political map of the nation.

“It is the reason that Captain, who himself was appearing in one or other court for various scams, was trying to mislead the people of the state through such political tactics to save party’s complete washout in 2017 assembly elections,” he said.
