The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred Advisor to Chandigarh, Kewal Kumar Sharma, a 1983-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, and has appointed him as the next Chief Secretary of Goa.
KK Sharma had joined the Chandigarh Administration in 2011.
Sharma is 1983-batch IAS officer of UT cadre and earlier served as Principal Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD), Delhi Government.
His last stint in Goa was in 1996-97 at Director-level.
