Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar on Tuesday lauded the role of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in the promotion of science and mathematics and urged to make special efforts for the promotion of Vedic Mathematics in the country.
Speaking on the inaugural ceremony of 41st Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition organized by Chandigarh Administration in Collaboration with NCERT here, Khattar said today being an era of science and technology, this exhibition would motivate the young students to exhibit their scientific and mathematical skills.
Khattar said the Haryana government would start online courses and virtual classrooms which would benefit not only the students of the State but also of Chandigarh and other adjoining States.
