Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar has directed the Director General of Police and Home Department to pay special attention towards safety and convenience of the Kawariyas entering the State.
Talking to media persons, Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said that he himself had interacted with Chief Minister regarding
safety and convenience of the Kawariyas. He said that the State Government has made special arrangements for their safety.
Sharma said that Kawariyas bring Kawars in the state during the monsoon and lakhs of Kawariyas would bring Kawars as the festival of Mahashivratri is on August 12. He said that he himself had brought Kawar many times.
The Minister said that the State Government would extend full help to organisations which would set up camps for safety and convenience of the Kawariyas.
