Khaira refutes charges by Badal-Majithia of being B team of Cong

Punjabi Ekta Party president Sukhpal Khaira on Friday termed SAD chief Sukhbir Badal and SAD MLA Bikram Majithia’s allegations of his being B-team of Congress “ridiculous” and “result of extreme panic” while challenging the duo to an open public debate.

On the contrary, Khaira alleged that the Badal-Majithia family are playing a friendly match with the Congress.

“The turn of events of the last few years clearly indicate that the Badals have not only ditched the Sikhs and deviated from the basic principles of panth but have also deeply colluded with Capt Amarinder Singh to save their skin for charges of blatant corruption and drugs,” he said asking the duo if he was Congress’ B-team, “why Capt Amarinder is witch hunting me by slapping an utterly frivolous, false and fabricated NDPS case against me?”

Khaira also challenged the Sukhbir-Majithia duo to clarify the charges of their hidden but obvious collusion with Capt Amarinder in shielding Majithia in sensational drug allegation despite clinching evidence against him in the Enforcement Directorate chargesheet of his connivance with international drug cartels of Satta and Pindi.

Listing several issues of alleged connivance between Congress and SAD, Khaira asked why Congress Government continued with its rivals’ blue eyed officer on the DGP post, and why the Badals are silent on his “third arbitrary extension”.

He alleged that Capt Amarinder is blatantly shielding the Badal family for their nefarious role in the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and Behbal killings, despite glaring evidence against them.
