The Punjab Government has declared a paid holiday for all the registered voters of Khadoor Sahib Constituency working in different factories and business establishments within the jurisdiction district Tarn Taran on February 13 to enable them to exercise their franchise during the Khadoor Sahib Assembly bypoll.
According to an official spokesman of the Government, the paid holiday would be the weekly paid off in all factories where Saturday is not a close day, in lieu of the normal paid holiday.
Also, all shops and commercial establishments in district Tarn Taran would remain closed on February 13 to enable the employees working there to exercise their franchise in the by-election.
The spokesman of the government said that this paid holiday is declared in the state in lieu of close day falling on any day during February 12 to February 19.
