Kejriwal to visit Hansi and Fatehabad today

Eyeing 2019 Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Haryana, Aam Aadmi Party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be visiting the state again on Tuesday.

Kejriwal will be visiting Hansi and Fatehabad assembly constituencies during his one day state visit on October 30.

The Delhi Chief Minister's visit to the two constituencies on Tuesday will be his ninth visit to the state in the past three months.

Naveen Jaihind, Haryana AAP chief on Monday said that party cadre is geared up for the proposed visit of Kejriwal.  He will be visiting villages in Hansi and Fatehabad and interact with the people of two constituencies.

People of the two constituencies are facing problems related to electricity, water and basic infrastructure, which they will be raising with the Delhi CM.

Recently, Kejriwal had visited government schools in Beri and Tosham, Jaihind added. Reacting on the reports that AAP has no base in Haryana, Kejriwal during his last visit to Haryana’s Bhiwani had said that political parties had underestimated the AAP before it registered a record win in the national capital and now, they are doing the same in Haryana, where the party's graph is on the rise.

He had also accused the BJP led State Government of playing the politics of Jat and non-Jat and doing nothing for the development in its past four years tenure.

Kejriwal has promised implementation of Swaminathan report, if AAP forms the next government in the state.

The AAP’s chief had earlier this year announced that his party will contest next year’s general elections and assembly polls in Haryana.

In the previous parliamentary polls held in 2014, AAP had lost on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana and most of its candidates had finished at fourth or fifth position. Following this, the AAP had not contested the state assembly polls held in October 2014.
