Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar and his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting in Chandigarh on Wednesday over the air pollution crisis in the region.
As per the tentative schedule, the two Chief Ministers will meet at Haryana Secretariat in the afternoon to discuss the issue. Senior bureaucrats of both the State Governments will be present at the meeting.
Kejriwal is likely to reach Chandigarh by 12:15.
For the meeting, Haryana Government has geared up to highlight a series of measures it has taken to curb the incidents of stubble burning and bring down the pollution levels.
A day before, Manohar lal had shot off a letter to Kejriwal castigating the latter for his "inability to rise above short term electoral interests" to resolve the problem of smog.
While the two CMs could not meet in Delhi on Monday, it was decided to hold a meeting on the issue of smog in Chandigarh on Wednesday.
