Anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare on Thursday said that Arvind Kejriwal should end his fast and fight against corruption and not sacrifice his life for it. A warm welcome was given to Team Anna here,  which had started its campaign from Amritsar at Ambala by large number of religious, social welfare, ex servicemen and trade organisations.

In his address, Hazare emphasised the need of public support to improve the system in the country and said people should recognise the value of their votes and avoid to use it in favour corrupt political leaders and support the right candidate instead of a party.

Former Army chief,  General VK Singh accompanying Hazare said  the aim of ‘Jantantar Yatra’ was to spread awareness about freedom struggle among people in the country and on completion of this, people would be invited to Delhi by to frame future line of action to save the country from the grip of corrupt people. He disclosed that as many as 90 youths from Ambala has joined Anna team.

Hazare said the political system has been adversely affected in which even farmers producing food grains for entire nation are dying of hunger. Talking to mediapersons, Anna clarified that his team will neither contest nor support the candidate of any political party in forthcoming lok Sabha elections but seek public support to mobilize his mission for a corruption-free country.
