Before the election of the new Speaker, Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Raghuvir Singh Kadian, as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, at Haryana Raj Bhawan.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who was present at the swearing in ceremony, wished Kadian on becoming the Pro-tem Speaker.
