With less than a month of assuming charge as Punjab Congress chief, Partap Singh Bajwa is face-to-face with yet another big switchover in Majha.
Youth Akali Dal president and Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Sunday managed to bring over 250 hardcore Congress families into the SAD fold including Gurmeet Singh Raju Bhilowal, present General Secretary of District Congress Amritsar (rural) and the former chairman of Tarsikka Block or Panchayat Samiti.
This win over is a clear indication that SAD stalwarts are all set to shake the ground under PPCC Chief.
The walkover is a candidly visible indication that it is not going to be a smooth sail for Bajwa and if the trend of defection goes unabated then it will do more harm to Bajwa than just giving sleepless nights.
Citing the reason, Gurmeet Singh said that workers have no say in Congress. More and more workers are stepping out because they are disillusioned and feel alienated.
