With INLD-BSP tie up is likely to end soon, the JJP is set to form an alliance with AAP to contest ensuing Lok Sabha polls. The AAP had earlier extended support to JJP candidate in Jind bypoll.
Arvind Kejriwal, who held meetings in Rohtak and Hisar, while talking to the mediapersons on Tuesday, said that good people should come together to fight against BJP. Asked whether AAP will join hands with the JJP, Kejriwal said that we are ready to form an alliance with parties of same ideology like us.
On the other hand, Dushyant’s younger brother, Digvijay Chautala said they would tie up with AAP or BSP, adding that both have similar ideologies like us.
Sources said that the leaders of JJP and AAP have already held a meeting to discuss seat sharing arrangements for the Lok Sabha polls. A meeting between Arvind Kejriwal and Dushyant Chautala is scheduled to be held in the coming days to discuss the seat sharing after which a formal announcement of their alliance will be made.
