The Jat community on Sunday gave an ultimatum to the BJP-led Haryana Government to accept their demands by December 20.
Akhil Bhartiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, chief Yashpal Malik, while speaking at the Jat mahasammelan in Rohtak’s Jassia village said the State Government should complete formalities to provide reservation to the community and withdraw cases related to Jat agitation 2016 by December 20.
The Jats will hold dharna on December 21 at Jantar Mantar in the national Capital over their demands and next course of action will be decided there, Malik said.
The key demands of Jats include the release of those jailed during 2016 agitation, withdrawal of cases slapped during the agitation and reservation to Jat community.
