After transferring a large number of HCS and IPS officers in past two weeks for their failure to contain violence during Jat quota stir, the BJP-led Haryana Government while continuing its damage control exercise transferred 10 IAS officers including the Deputy Commissioners of riot-affected Rohtak and Sonepat.
An official spokesperson said that Atul Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Mahendragarh at Narnaul goes as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak relieving Dusmanta Kumar Behera.
Khetmalis Makrand Pandurang, Deputy Commissioner, Mewat at Nuh has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Sonepat and Commissioner MC Sonepat relieving Rajiv Rattan.
During the Jat agitation, the rioters had set several showrooms, outlets, other business establishments, schools and houses on fire, causing a heavy loss in the four districts, which are part of Rohtak division. These included Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonepat and Panipat districts.
The posting orders of Dusmanta Kumar Behera and Rajiv Rattan would be issued later, said the official.
Sanjeev Verma, Administrator, HUDA and Additional Director, Urban Estates, Panchkula has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Mahendragarh at Narnaul vice Atul Kumar.
Arun Kumar Gupta, Director General and Secretary, Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates, Director General and Secretary, Mines and Geology, Advisor and Secretary, Civil Aviation Department has been given additional charge of Chief Administrator, Housing Board relieving Ramesh Krishan of the said charge.
Pradeep Kasni, Director General and Secretary, Archives has been given additional charge of Director General and Secretary, Industrial Training Department relieving Suresh Kumar Goyal of the said charge while Ramesh Krishan goes as Director General, Supplies and Disposals relieving Vikas Gupta of the said charge, said the spokesperson.
Brijendra Singh, Chief Administrator, HUDA goes as Managing Director, Haryana Warehousing Corporation while Vikas Gupta, Director and Special Secretary, Urban local Bodies, Mission Director, State Urban livelihood Mission and State Urban Development Authority and Director, Supplies and Disposals has been posted as Director and Special Secretary, Urban local Bodies and, Mission Director, State Urban livelihood Mission and State Urban Development Authority.
