Janata Darbar: Vij Ensures Swift Action on Grievances

In a bid to address the public concerns and grievances, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Sunday held a Janata Darbar at his residence in Ambala, where he promptly responded to various distress calls and directed authorities to take immediate action.

One particularly alarming case brought to the Minister’s attention was that of a youth whose fingers were allegedly amputated instead of being treated after they got trapped in a machine at a factory in Ambala Cantonment BD Flour Mill area.

The family accused the factory owner of negligence, stating that their son was taken to a private doctor who amputated three of his fingers without seeking proper medical consultation. Despite filing a complaint with the police, no action had been taken.

Minister Vij swiftly directed the Ambala SP to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure justice for the victim and his family.

Another heartbreaking incident highlighted during the Janata Darbar involved a family from Panipat whose house was set ablaze by unknown assailants, resulting in the tragic death of a child and injuries to five other family members. Despite a murder case being registered, the culprits remained at large. Minister wasted no time in instructing the Panipat SP to expedite the arrest of the perpetrators and provide solace to the grieving family.

The Minister addressed a myriad of other issues brought forth by concerned citizens. From land encroachment disputes in Palwal to immigration fraud in Kaithal and Kurukshetra, the Minister vowed to uphold the rule of law and ensure swift resolution to each complaint.

Furthermore, the Minister emphasized the importance of safeguarding women's rights and combating cybercrime, as evidenced by his directives to address cases of assault on a woman in Bhiwani and online fraud in Defense Colony.
