Haryana Government has decided to dispense with the practice of holding interviews for recruitment on group ‘D’ posts so as to further ensure transparency and fairness in Government jobs.
From now onwards, all the recruitments on group ‘D’ posts will be made by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. This was decided in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar lal on Friday.
The new system of recruitment will eliminate the discretion and scope of corruption in recruitment process, said a spokesman of State Government.
He added, “It may be recalled that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Independence Day speech had urged the state governments to end the practice of holding interviews for junior level jobs in the Government.”
