As a result of the efforts of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav has been globally celebrated for the last six years and in this series this year the Gita Mahotsav will be celebrated at the Living Art Centre Mississauga, Canada. Being organized from September 16 to 19, it would have 104 religious and social organizations of the country and abroad to brainstorm on the teachings of Bhagavad Gita. A spokesperson of the Haryana Government said that for the first time on a foreign soil, so many institutions will be seen collaborating on one platform for organizing this Mahotsav.
