Haryana Government on Friday issued strict instructions to departments to further improve their functioning and also train their staff at the district level to ensure benefits of schemes and services are being availed by the people at Antyodaya and Saral Kendras.

The Project Director, Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) Programme, Rakesh Gupta issued the directions while presiding over a review meeting of nodal officers of Antyodaya Saral Project here.

He directed the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Revenue Department, Forest Department, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikarn and Urban Local Bodies Department to improve their functioning and ensure that the benefit of the schemes and services are provided through Antyodaya and Saral Kendras. Apart from this, the departments will ensure immediate action on important tickets received daily, he said.

Gupta asked the nodal officers to settle the applications and complaints received on Antyodaya portal, at the earliest. Along with this, if any application or complaint is cancelled by the department then its reason should be informed to the concerned, he said.

He also said that there are still some departments which have not publicized that all the schemes and services of their department would now be available at Antyodaya and Saral Kendras.

While directing all the nodal officers, Gupta said that the general public should get the benefits of all the schemes and services at the earliest, without any laxity and with full responsibility. He said that the dashboard app mobile application was launched on December 25 and nodal officers could review the status of all applications received in their department.
