To celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of Chaudhary Devi lal as a golden century year, Indian National lok Dal (INlD) has ordered for a huge waterproof tent of more than 10 lakh sq. feet in area for Samman Divas Samaroh rally to be held at Kurukshetra on November 1.
Ashok Arora, State president of INlD, said that keeping in view the huge gathering and to make this rally historical, INlD has planned to install 500 gates at all possible entries of Kurkushetra to welcome the groundswell. Five huge lCD screens will be installed, besides decorating the whole town with lighting, flowers and banners.
Apparently, the INlD is not taking this rally to be a normal gathering of people; it is considering this rally as an important event for the upcoming lok Sabha elections, 2014, and the right platform to launch INlD’s fourth generation, Digvijay Chautala and Dushyant Chautala, at the national level.
The youth wing of INlD, Indian National Students Organisation, had already started a public awareness campaign called Jan Chetna Yatra since October 5 under the leadership of Digvijay Singh Chautala, which concluded at Kurukshetra after covering all the constituencies across the State.
All the members of the youth wing have been asked to facilitate the guests for the rally and serve at entry points to impart their duty as loyal partymen. To tackle the hassle of traffic gridlock, around 15 cranes will be installed around the venue. Party has also arranged for 10 ambulances for any emergency medical problem that might arise during the rally.
Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, former CM of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu, former deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and RPI leader Ramdas Athawale, Prakash Ambedkar, grandson of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, several MPs, MlAs and other senior leaders from different parties will register their presence at the rally here.
More than 10,000 partyworkers will pledge to donate their eyes on this august occasion.
