Indian National lok Dal, main opposition party in Haryana on Wednesday alleged that the Manohar lal Khattar led State Government has failed on all fronts in the State in its two years rule.

“Be it farmers, youth, women, traders or government employees, the BJP led State Government has ignored the interest of all sections of society in Haryana during its tenure,” alleged leader of opposition in Haryana Assembly and INlD’s senior leader Abhay Singh Chautala on Wednesday.

Chautala while talking to the mediapersons here accused the Haryana Government of duping the farmers. Farmers are being looted as they are being paid less than the MSP for their paddy produce and bajra, said Chautala.

The INlD leader said that the party delegation will meet Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki on Thursday to apprize him the wrong doings of the State Government. The Governor will be apprized about the ongoing paddy procurement scam, problems faced by the farmers in mandis (grain markets) during the paddy procurement season, farmers being looted due to implementation of pradhan mantri fasal bima yojna, non implementation of Swaminathan report among other issues, he said.

The BJP Government has failed to fulfil its poll promises. In case, the ruling BJP fails to take any action on the demands put forth by the INlD for the welfare of farmers in the state, the INlD will announce ‘Haryana Bandh’ after November 15, warned Chautala.

lashing out at the Chief Minister Manohar lal, he said that the Chief Minister does not care about farmers. He says one thing... and does another. I along with party leaders had met him to inform about the ongoing paddy procurement scam but the Chief Minister has failed to do anything so far, said he.

Farmers are worst affected in the state, he alleged.

Chautala also claimed that the corruption continues in the BJP Government and it might break the records of previous Congress Government in terms of corruption.

The leader of opposition also said that the INlD will observe a ‘black Diwali’ this time as all sections of the society are suffering under BJP’s rule.

When asked about the ongoing preparations of swarna jayanti celebrations by the Haryana Government, he said that the Government does not have any roadmap to spend Rs 1700 crore earmarked for various schemes to be introduced in the golden jubilee year.

On attending the inaugural function at Gurgaon on November 1, Chautala said that he will attend the inaugural function of golden jubilee celebrations but will boycott other functions if the government fails to act on INlD’s demands.

If the Government really wants to celebrate Haryana’s golden jubilee year, it should first fulfil its poll promises related to pension, employees’ salary, unemployment allowance etc, added Chautala.
