Haryana Congress on Sunday alleged that INlD has leveled false accusations against the Congress leaders to undo the crimes committed by their own leaders.
Haryana Congress spokesperson and General Secretary, media, Ran Singh Maan, said that the CD, sponsored by INlD, could not undo the crimes committed by their leaders. The main motive behind issuing such CDs is to divert the attention of the people from the cases against them concerning disproportionate assets, and the report of the Batra Committee, he said.
Everyone knows that that among all the politicians of the State, the Chautala family has the biggest land pool and owns huge property, said Mann, adding that during his tenure, Chautala family not only made lot of money but also captured some trusts. Instead of demanding development schemes for the State, Chautalas sought to secure land and other facilities for the family trusts from the then NDA Government at the Centre.
With a view to build up the family empire, Chautalas seized Government, panchayati, mustafa malkan and controversial property by dint of power. “If the INlD leaders have so much faith and trust in any CD, why did not they accept the resignation of party MlA from loharu, Dharampal Obra”, Mann asked.
The Congress spokesman asked the BJP why the party did not seek the resignation of the Chhatisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, and three of his cabinet ministers when a bank manager leveled allegations of graft running into crorers of rupees against them. A sting operation revealed how top BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain and Parkash Jawdekar planned to commit a fraud on a woman from Gujarat, he alleged.
Neither the Opposition leaders have any public welfare issue to raise nor have any proof of wrong doing against the Government. They are only finding ways to walk out of the Vidhan Sabha and hit the headlines, he added .
