Indian National lokdal (INlD) activists led by Dushyant Chautala, son of Ajay Singh Chautala, on Thursday held a demonstration in home town of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here in protest against alleged scam in HCS recruitment.
The protesters also staged a dharna in front of local residence of CM at Baapu Park for over an hour and later submitted their memorandum to Rohtak ADC RC Bidhan wherein they have demanded a probe into the HCS recruitment by magistrate of High Court or Supreme Court so that guilty could be punished.
Earlier, the INlD activists converged at Medical turn around 2 pm and shouted slogans against the State Government. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Dushyant Chautala said the Hooda Government was openly encouraging nepotism and favouritism in Government jobs.
“The State Government is deliberately violating the recruitment rules for giving high-profile jobs to its near and dear ones. Selection of relative of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, his Cabinet Ministers, MlAs and subordinates in the HCS recruitment has proved that meritorious candidates are being ignored in the recruitment of Government jobs,” said Dushyant, adding that the matter was serious in nature hence, should be probed from a magistrate of High Court of Supreme Court.
The INlD leader said common men were infuriated owing to autocratic attitude being followed by Chief Minister against them. Now, they were eagerly waiting for lok Sabha and Assembly polls to vote the congress party out from the power, he added.
